Maybe it has been successful, but many people have the mark of failure on their foreheads. Even then people did not stop. At one time, various states and parganas of undivided India in this Indian subcontinent were under different kings and maharajas. Due to being in power and in many ways they became the owners of huge wealth. This huge wealth of theirs was hidden in various secret places made by them for various reasons. But the traces of many assets were not found later after their deaths.
When India came under British rule, they too went out in search of those hidden treasures. Sometimes under the supervision of the government, sometimes these campaigns are carried out on private initiative. Although some of these hidden treasures were recovered, traces of many hidden treasures were not found at that time. Even after India became independent, it remained a mirage. Today's event is in search of hidden treasures not found in different parts of India.
Treasure of Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah
The name of the city of Hyderabad is spread throughout Indian history. One of the most spectacular architectures of the city is the Charminar Tunnel. It is said that the minaret was built in 1593 under the supervision of Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah. Throughout the installation, touches of Persian architecture can be seen. To the north of the 56-meter-high Charminar are four cannons or arches. The most notable feature of the Charminar is the tunnel under the minaret.
Once upon a time there was an arrangement to go to Golconda fort through this tunnel. This tunnel was built so that any danger could actually be escaped safely. However, the reason why the tunnel has become the most talked about is that there was a lot of treasure hidden in one of the secret rooms in the tunnel, which no one has found to date.
The plundered wealth of the king of Jaipur, Man Singh
Raja Mansingh of Jaipur was the chief general of the Mughal emperor Akbar. Emperor Akbar in 1560 entrusted Mansingh with the task of establishing the Mughal Empire in Afghanistan. Mansingh defeated the Afghans and brought Afghanistan under the control of the Mughal Empire.
After occupying Afghanistan, Mansingh took a lot of wealth from the Afghans and from the Afghan treasury. It is believed that not all of the plundered wealth was deposited in the Mughal treasury. Many researchers estimate that he hid a large part of this looted wealth in his Jaigarh fort. But those hidden treasures have not yet been found.
Emperor Nadir Shah's looted wealth
Persian Emperor Nadir Shah invaded India with 50,000 troops. After the conquest of India by Nadir Shah, his army indiscriminately killed about twenty to thirty thousand innocent people. Looted a lot of wealth. It is said that the amount of looting was so great that when Nadir Shah and his troops were returning with the looted goods, a line of about 150 miles was formed.
What was not on the list of looted goods? From Jahangir's peacock throne to all the treasures of the treasury. Royal gold with lots of pearls which is worth crores of Indian rupees at that time. The irony of fate, however, is that when Nadir Shah was returning to his homeland in 1848, he was killed in a tent on the way. Ahmed Shah, the assassin who killed him, fell ill on the way and died. Many believe that before Nadir Shah's death, Ahmad Shah found the whereabouts of the emperor's treasury.
But as Ahmad Shah died on the way, it was not possible to recover the whereabouts of the looted property. Many speculate that Nadir Shah's treasure is hidden in one of the tunnels in the Hindu Kush mountains. Although some treasures, such as the Peacock Throne (now in Iran) and the Kohinoor Diamond (which is adorned with the Queen of England's crown), have been recovered, many of the looted treasures have not been found.
The hidden treasure of Mir Osman Ali, the last Nizam of Hyderabad.
Mir Osman Ali was the last Nizam of the vast state of Hyderabad in undivided India. On the cover of Forbes Magazine in 2006, Nizam was ranked fifth among the richest people in the world. His net worth was ০ 210.6 billion. Time magazine named him the richest man in the world in 1936.
In 1911, Mir Osman Ali ascended to the throne of power. At this time the treasury was going to be almost zero. This miserable condition of the treasury was caused by the erratic living of the father of Mir Osman Ali, the former Nizam of the empire. After Mir Osman Ali took power, the financial condition of the state started to return. During his 37-year reign, the treasury swelled. The amount of his personal wealth also increased at a massive rate. But after his death some of his vast wealth was found.
It is believed that this huge treasure is hidden in the Kothi Palace. The Nizam spent most of his life in this palace. Many believe that there is a hidden treasure in one of the secret chambers of that Kothi palace. Among his treasures are 183 gorgeous rubies, diamonds, corals, pearls, sapphires made of famous Nizam jewelery, gold and silver with various precious stones. Even today, many are looking for that hidden treasure of the Nizam.
Treasure of Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
When Jahangir, the emperor of Delhi, was defeated by the British, the British decided to deport the emperor from Delhi. The defeated emperor requested the British government to send him to Alwar Fort in Rajasthan, 150 km from Delhi.
The British government complied with the emperor's request and sent him to exile in Alwar fort. Legend has it that the emperor hid a lot of his treasures in a secret cell of the fort during his stay here. Although some of that wealth has since been recovered, much of the treasury has yet to be recovered.
Diamond mines below the Krishna river.
