Alia Izzet Begvich, the emperor of knowledge about the future of Islamic civilization, Islamic thinkers and philosophers, Muslims avoided considering
Today, Islamic awakening has taken place in every nook and cranny of the Muslim world. In every Muslim country, Muslims today are determined to regain their lost glory. When something starts to move, no one has the power to stop it. What has happened in Muslim countries so far may not be enough for the revolution of the future, but this renaissance has brought the message of a successful revolution in the future.
Like many other Islamic thinkers and philosophers, Aliazzet Begvich asked, "Why is the Muslim world lagging behind?" And "What is the way out of this?" Tried to answer this question. He has also made a manifesto to take the Muslim world forward.
Alia Izzetbegvich considers 1917 to be the last point of decline for the Muslim world. Because at that time there was no independent Muslim country in the world. Considering that time, Alia Izzetbegvich also identified the "internal" and "external" causes of backwardness in the Muslim world.
One of the most important external factors is the invasion of the Mongols. Because these Mongols destroyed all the intellectual, economic, political and human experiences of the Muslim world in a very horrible way.
On the other hand, as an internal cause of backwardness, he said, Islam has been analyzed only as a religion and from a theological point of view.
Alia Izzetbegvich, in particular, places a great deal of emphasis on the second factor, and analyzes the cuts on this subject. He strongly criticizes those who see Islam only as a religion in the eyes of the West.
According to Alia Izzet Begvich, man is a creature composed of soul and body. Islam is needed to meet the needs of both this ‘soul and body’. Leaving one and taking the other will never achieve perfection.
Alia Izzet Begvich, in her book Islamic Declaration, says: "It is not possible to fully understand Islam using the terms Ibadat, Sacrifice, Repentance, Juhud, Good Deeds and Love. In order to fully understand Islam, one must know very well the terms body, power, struggle, economy, politics, sociology, court, health, science, prizes, environment and energy."
According to him, the decline of Muslims has started since the Muslims avoided considering Islam from a multidimensional point of view. Elsewhere, he said, Muslims were turned away from the intoxication of world conquest and a strong desire to change the world as a result of deviating Islam from politics and framing it into a non-political act of worship. This return of the Muslims did more harm than good to the Mongols.
As Muslims return from apolitical and addictive changes to the world, fear gradually spreads among them. This fear gradually drives away the courage, exuberance and fighting spirit (jihad) from the Muslims. As a result, Muslims, instead of uniting themselves, began to favor foreign powers whom they saw as stronger than themselves. Later, they became puppets of their own hands, engaged in conflicts and wars against each other!
In addition to pointing out the reasons for the backwardness of the Muslim world, Alia Izzetbegvich also highlighted the kind of path and approach that the Muslim Ummah must take to move forward. According to Alia Izzetbegvich, the world Muslim community should make a "tajdid" in the field of religion, that is, reorganize religious thought in the light of zeitgeist, and institutionalize the concept of "ittihadi Islam" in the political field, as well as come forward to implement it anew.
Alia Izzetbevich saw the need for an Islamic struggle against authoritarian rule in the national arena and for the formation of a large federation of independent Muslim countries in the international arena. Establishing this federation or Islamic unity will be possible only when Muslims can unite their state power and economic power. Wealth, manpower, petrol, scientific knowledge and all such possibilities have to be combined. Only then can this federation of Muslims make a real difference in the global system.
The emperor of knowledge, Izzetbegvich, criticized the old prescriptions of the Conservatives and all the foreign prescriptions of the modernists as solutions. According to him, the reason for the backwardness of Muslims is the failure to establish Islam personally, socially and politically. In other words, Muslims did not fall because of Islam, but because of non-acceptance of Islam, Muslims today are a degenerate and oppressed nation.
He thinks that if Muslims can re-embrace Islam and build a new civilization and culture, it will benefit not only Muslims but the whole of humanity. Culture and civilization are just as necessary for human beings as breathing and food. That is why Muslims are forced to build culture and civilization in the light of their faith! ‘Culture’ is a way to increase people’s inner freedom. ‘Culture’ seeks the answer to the question ‘why live’ and ‘civilization’ seeks the answer to the question ‘how to live’.
Just as Islam has its own culture, so does Islam have its own civilization. So Muslims should, not establish authority over nature, need to better understand and comprehend nature. According to Alia Izzet Begvich, Western civilization considers nature not a deposit for itself but its own resources. The technological and scientific advances they have made based on this philosophy will never bring good to humanity. This technological development without the teachings of ‘Tauhid’ ‘carries many advantages as well as many dangers’. Basically, he is referring to the terrible side of modern technology, which is a reflection of their philosophy.
